Events in Monferrato in the next weeks

THE LEAVES ARE FALLING, THE EVENTS ARE INCREASING

The triumph of autumn colors accompanies a lot of events planned in Monferrato in the coming weeks!

Until Sunday, October 21st, meetings, walks, musical events, visits and many other initiatives enrich the ITACA 'Monferrato Festival, throughout the territory. On Sunday there will also be a morning of "Yoga in Grapperia" at the Magnoberta Distillery.

On Saturday, October 20th is organized in Casale Monferrato the biological market Il Paniere, while at the Enoteca Regionale del Monferrato continue the exhibitions and tastings, music and book presentations. Many artistic exhibitions can be visited in Casale Monferrato: at the Castle of Monferrato (where on Sunday 21st will be opened "Tracce di cemento: industrial archeology in Monferrato", about cement), at the Jewish Community and at the Library of the Seminary.

October is also the month of readings and stories thanks to the meetings at the Giovanni Canna Civic Library and the Luzzati Library. Here the stories will become "chills" in the afternoon of October 31st when there will be animated readings to celebrate Halloween.

Are you a theater fan? In the evening of Saturday 20th there will be performances at the theaters of Fubine and Moncalvo. Finally, while the long “Settembre Salvatorese”in San Salvatore Monferrato turns towards the conclusion, the music will animate the Teatro Le Muse di Terruggia on October 21st and 28th thanks to the Monferrato Classic Festival.

 

FROM THE TRAINING TO THE INFERNOT: ALL THE APPOINTMENTS

Perfumed weekend in Moncalvo, where the 64th National Truffle Fair arrives (on Sunday 21st and 28th October) with exhibitions and the new Saturday markets. On 3rd and 4th November in Cella Monte truffle will be the protagonist again thanks to the 27th Regional White Truffle Festival in Valle Ghenza.

On Sunday 21st the Autumn Fair wil, take place in Breme with artisans and hobbyists in the cloister of the millennial Abbey and in the streets. On Sunday 28th will be the antiques to dominate the stalls in Pontestura.

For lovers of visits the program is packed: on Sunday 21st will open the characteristic infernot of the territory but also the Center of Interpretation of the Po Landscape in Frassineto Po, the Castle of San Giorgio Monferrato (with tour on 21st and 28th), Villa Larbel in Salabue di Ponzano (visits on 21st). On Sunday 28th also returns the appointment with the Romanesque in Lomellina with visits to the heritage of Breme.

Those who love the culinary specialties will taste typical excellences on Sunday 21st at Mazzetti d'Altavilla Distillery on the occasion of "Chocolate in Monferrato" or enjoy the dinner with a crime scheduled for the 31st with "Halloween in the Distillery". On Saturday 27th October, the autumn culinary ritual of the bagna cauda in Ponzano Monferrato is back!

Other proposals? The walkings: on 27th it will be possible to walk around Monte Sion in Mombello Monferrato while on 28th appointment with “Camminare il Monferrato” in Coniolo. The end of October will also show you the stars thanks to the reopening (on 30th) of the Odalengo Piccolo Astronomical Observatory.
