Events on 22nd and 23rd September

The Monferrato Wine Festival

From Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd September will end the Monferrato Wine Festival in Casale Monferrato. Many appointments, in addition to the distribution of many specialties and wines at the Pavia Market space.

On Saturday 22nd for the Folkermesse in the courtyard of the Castle at 9.15 pm concert by Gigi Biolcati, feat Folkestra & Folkoro. On Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd will continue, from 10 am to 1 pm and from 3 to 7 pm, in the former Church Mater Misericordiae in Piazza San Domenico the collective exhibition "The different languages ​​of art".

For the European Heritage Days, on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd (from 10.30 am to 1pm and from 3 to 6.30 pm), the Civic Museum and the Gipsoteca Bistolfi will open with the special reduced entrance price of 2.50 euros. On Saturday 22nd, from 1am to 3 pm, at the Castello del Monferrato will take place the conference "Sent che Roba!" dedicated to the truffle of Monferrato and at 5 pm tasting of spirits in the new Grapperia 918 of Magnoberta. Also at 5 pm, at the Castello del Monferrato, the opening of the Unesco site "Langhe, Roero e Monferrato - Zona 6".

At 6 pm, at the Castello del Monferrato, award ceremony for the "Torchio d'Oro" Wine Competition. On Sunday 23rd from 9 am to 7 pm market "Doc Monferrato Typical and Shopping" with stalls of shops, artisans, artists and hobbyists.

Furthermore, during the weekend art exhibitions are open at the Castello del Monferrato. And on Saturday 22nd from 7 am to 7 pm at the Centro Nuoto Casale, Dynamo12ore 2018 will take place with swimming for charity.

Weekend full of events throughout the Monferrato. For music lovers in San Salvatore Monferrato, the Sansalvatorese September continues with the review "Parole e Musica in Monferrato" while in VignaleMonferrato the Monferrato Classic Festival proposes a concert by Edoardo Riganti Fulginei at 5.30 pm on Sunday 23rd and in Lu Monferrato Piano Echos '18 promotes the concert of the Bizjak-Zurkovic duo. Typical food and wine are protagonist at the Castle of San Giorgio Monferrato where on Saturday 22nd will be held the Dinner under the stars, in Gabiano where on the 22nd and 23rd will take place the Fair of Hazelnut and in Ozzano Monferrato with "Add a village a Tavola" (on 23rd). Wines protagonists at the Castello of Gabiano thanks to the event "Welcome Vendemmia" (on 23rd) while in Pontestura is back on Sunday 23rd the Antiques Market. Finally, the nature: the Parco del Po on the 22nd will be opened the Centro Emys Piemonte with the Natural Reserve of the San Genuario Swamp and from September 27th to the 30th it’s possible to walk along the Gran Trekking del Monferrato and of the Castelli Bruciati, in Valcerrina area.
