12th EDITION OF SARTIRANA TEXTILE SHOW
La Pila is pleased to host the 12th edition of Sartirana Textile Show, 14 to 18 September 2016. The Sartirana Textile Show is considered one of the most important fairs in the world in ancient textile art industry. Located in the beautiful Pila, former warehouse of the seventeenth century, rice, it is a regular event for international exhibitors, collectors and art enthusiasts textiles. The Sartirana Textile Show is to promote the textile art interest, as an object of art and as a cultural and social symbol that unites the disparate traditions in the world. The collateral exhibitions every year enrich the exhibition's main market this year will be dedicated to:
<>••Turkmen are back, it will be an exhibition entirely dedicated to Turkmen carpets from many important Italian collections. Turkmen are back takes place simultaneously with the presentation in Italy of the new book by Jürg Rageth all dedicated to these carpets: Turkmen Carpets. A New Perspective.
 
Like every year, also in the 12th edition of the STS, will be renovated the Tea Time Talk Textile, short open to all informal conferences that develop the most diverse aspects of textile art, followed by a convivial moment of tea and biscuits.
