Until January 7th there are many valid reasons to stay or arrive in Monferrato and experience the authentic atmosphere of Christmas. How? Through markets and typical shopping ideas, by participating to book events, concerts and theatrical performances ... without forgetting the “live” nativity scenes that will allow you to enter into the deeper meaning of Christmas.

Many events for children thanks to animations, workshops and readings that will take place between Casale Monferrato and the entire territory, specially marked in the container of "Nadal an Munfrà" (Christmas in Monferrato). The Tourist Information Office (Chiosco IAT) of Casale Monferrato will welcome all visitors and will propose 100% Monferrato gift ideas with which to compose your own personalized Christmas shopper.

The arrival of winter does not block the cultural liveliness and events at 360 degrees in the Monferrato area. In Moncalvo, for example, until 10 December, the greedy activities linked to the historic “Fiera del Bue Grasso” (Fat Ox Exhibition). For art lovers, in Casale Monferrato, during the next  weekend the main city monuments reopen thanks to “Casale Città Aperta” (Casale Open City). On Saturday 9th of December, history passionates can also take part in the conference "Casale, a capital for the territory. The premises: from Teodoro II to Giovanni IV ", at the Castle of Monferrato.
 
It will be a cultural December to experience in the capital of Monferrato thanks to exhibitions and openings of sites belonging to the network of Museums "Momu" but will also be a month of lot of shows, markets and entertainments. Do not forget to enjoy the magic of winter thanks to the Pista del Ghiaccio (ice rink) installed in the heart of the historic city center.
